Course Overview

This course covers the physical and physiological changes women's bodies undergo during and after pregnancy. You will learn a variety of exercises and modifications that have been specifically designed for pregnant women, along with, how to assess which exercises are appropriate in each trimester.

Course Evaluation

At the end of the course, you will complete an end-of-course evaluation survey. We are continually trying to improve the content and delivery of our online courses and need your feedback. We think this is so important that we require the End-of-Course Evaluation Survey to be completed in its entirety. The survey is, however, completely confidential. Your instructor is not allowed to record your final course grade with the Registrar until the Registrar has been notified that you have successfully completed the End-of-Course Survey.

Americans with Disabilities Act

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) provides federal civil rights protection and accommodation to people who are considered disabled. The Academy will provide services and reasonable accommodations to individuals who may require them. More information about the ADA, including requirements, regulations, and procedures can be found in the current catalog, pp. 65-67. If you have questions, concerns, and/or wish to apply for ADA accommodations, please contact the registrar's office by phone at 251-626-3303 ext. 7146, or by email at registrar@ussa.edu.

HelpDesk

The HelpDesk is available to assist you throughout your studies; if you have questions related to student services, are experiencing a technical issue, or are simply unsure of who to go to for help, you can contact the HelpDesk by phone at 251-626-3303 ext. 7144 or by email at helpdesk@ussa.edu
